The Gas Cylinder is the new canvas!

For the first time in Jordan, Red Bull is inviting artists, both professionals and amateurs alike, to showcase their talents by turning gas cylinders into artistic pieces.
The purpose behind this idea is to encourage the art scene in Jordan to create new and creative designs in the aim to improve the aesthetic of the gas cylinder, to be later re-distributed and sent back on their cycling journey across Jordanian households, only this time as locally made pieces of art.
The project will kick-off on February 19, where participants can submit their designs through redbull.com/jarraart by downloading an application form, filling it out with their design, and re-submitting it on the website. A professional panel of artists will then choose the best 100 designs, which will then be open to a public vote. Voting will take place between March 19 and March 25, where voters will choose the best 50 designs. The winning participants will be provided with the gas cylinders to implement their designs on. The 50 winning designs will be put on display at the Toyota Showroom on Mecca Street on April 7.
