Create and perform your own stage work in a fun and supportive environment at “The Lab” a weekly class led by Shireen Talhouni. Fee is 40JD monthly or 12JD drop in.

Description:
In this dance class, participants will be exploring their creative potential by devising and performing their own work. The class is open to all levels and always begins with a full body warm up and simple technical exercises that help strengthen the body. This is followed by creative time and finally a sharing at the end of class where participants show and discuss what they have worked on. Participants with have the opportunity to show their final work in a sharing for family and friends at the end of the year. Last year, the work was showcased at The National Centre for Culture and Arts.

About Shireen:
Shireen graduated from Trinity Laban conservatoire of music and dance in the UK in 2012 before moving back to Amman where first started teaching dance. With time her classes have created a space in the city for a community of like minded individuals who regularly come together to express themselves.
