This talk ” IoT and Startups” by Yousef Wadi is part of (Umniah IoT Innovation Program)

Umniah is launching one of its kind in the Middle East, Internet of Things (IoT) Innovation program to enable entrepreneurs and innovators to move their creative Hi-Tech ideas into realizable products. The program will help the entrepreneurs of Jordan to gain technical skills to develop the proof of concept (prototypes) of their products besides gaining innovation and business skills to test and validate the concepts with the potential customers.

Yousef Wadi is a Computer Geek who has focused his career path on the “world of the Internet” & Hardware Technologies.
Early in his career, Yousef and his team managed to get 2nd place at Microsoft Imagine Cup competition winning $75,000. Following his win, Yousef ended up founding 6 other startups throughout his entrepreneurial journey with one of his startups getting acquired by global tech giant Yahoo!

Yousef’s love for technology and hardware had led him to found one of Jordan’s most popular tech businesses, Arabia Weather.Today he is tinkering with his next big idea related to the “Internet Of Things”, a business sector that is globally underhyped and is anticipated by tech investors to potentially be valued in the Billions!
