عن الفرقة والعمل:

تأسّست فرقة الفُنون الشّعبية الفلسطينية عام 1979 بجهود مجموعة من الشّباب والشّابات المُبدعين والواعدين، وهي “فرقة فنّية غنائيّة راقصة تستلهم التّراث الفنّي الإنساني عموماً، والتراث الشّعبي الفلسطيني خُصوصاً في بناء أعمال فنّية مُعاصرة تعبّر عن مشاعر وأحاسيس مبدعيها، وتساهم في إحداث التّغيير في الإنسان والمُجتمع من خلال مُمارسة فنّية جمالية”. وتؤمن فرقة الفُنون بأهمية بناء جسور ثقافية مع العالم، لتعزيز الحوار الحضاري، ولتبادل الخبرات والأفكار والتّقنية الفنّية وكذلك لتمثيل الفنّ الفلسطيني في الخارج رغم محاولات العزل والحصار.

“”طلت…” عمل فنّي لبراعم فرقة الفنون الشّعبيّة ومن إنتاج العام 2014، مبني على موسيقى فلكلورية القادمة زمانياً من محطّات في التّاريخ الفلسطيني وتاريخ فرقة الفنون.

About El-Funoun & the performance:

El Funoun Palestinian Popular Dance Troup was founded in 1979 through the efforts of a group of enthusiastic and promising male and female artists. El-Funoun perceives its works as artistic articulations of Arab-Palestinian heritage, present and future ambitions. The Troupe aims at developing and promoting contemporary Palestinian dance through reviving Palestinian folklore, deriving from it, building on it and adding to it El-Funoun’s unique dance style. El Funoun believes in building cultural bridges across the world as a means to exchange experience, ideas, artistic techniques, and in order to present Palestinian art after decades of forced confinement.

“Tallat…” is based on “Zajel”, a CD of folkloric songs, which comes to us from a time of critical markers in Palestinian history and the history of El-Funoun Dance Troupe.
