In 2018, the European Union in Jordan created and funded RISE Talent Contest to promote & celebrate Jordan’s youth talent & creativity in different artistic dimensions.

After a successful 1st edition, the initiative is happening again this year, now larger and organized by EUNIC Jordan. Youngsters from all over the kingdom compete in four different categories: playing, singing, dancing and creating.

A call was launched between August and October 2019. The contest attracted over 100 applicants which were assessed and pre-selected by a jury composed of Jehad Hadad (playing), Hind Hamed (singing) Ra’ed Ibrahim (creating) and Abd Al Hadi Abunahleh (dancing).

Featuring 16 participants, the final talent show and award-ceremony will take place on Saturday, 16th November 2019 at Al-Hussein Cultural Center – Ras Al Ain. Between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.
