مُلخّص قصير. أميرة صينية مثالية وراعية للفن، سلطان هندي دمويّ، فلّاحة مصرية عاشقة، أمير وملك عربي خِصمان، الملكات المملوكيات الملقبات بخاتون، شاب تسيطر عليه رغبات في الانتقام.. هذه الشخصيات، إلى جانب الرحَّالة الطنجي بالقرن الرابع عشر، ابن بطوطة، سيرشدوننا في هذه الرحلة، التي هي أيضًا رحلتنا، والتي تنطلق كمبرر للتأمل في كيف رأى ابن بطوطة العالم وكيف نراه نحن الآن. ستة ممثلين عرب سيجسدون الشخصيات الثمانية وأربعين بهذا العمل المسرحي.

عمل مسرحي مستوحى من كتاب رحلة ابن بطوطة
“قصة رجل في محاولة لاكتشاف نفسه في الآخرين” ماركو ماغوا
الممثل و الكاتب و المخرج المسرحي ماركو ماغوا يعود الى الأردن ليستمر في نشاطاته الهادفة الى تعزيز التعاون الثقافي بين اسبانيا و العالم العربي. في شهر آب الماضي تم عمل تجارب الأداء لاختيار ممثلين و ممثلات شباب من الأردن و فلسطين و العراق حيث تم القيام خلال خمس اسابيع بتجسيد مشروع التعاون في عمل مسرحي مستوحى من كتاب رحلة ابن بطوطة. لقد كانت ورشات العمل حول الفن المسرحي التي تم تنظيمها في معهد ثيربانتيس هي نواة العمل الأبداعي لمجموعة الشباب فعلى مدى خمس اسابيع من العمل شارك في تلك الورشات العديد من المختصين الأردنيين في الفن المسرحي (مساعدي مخرجين, فننين, مصورين, فنانين من كلا الجنسين), و منذ البداية كان الهدف الرئيس هو تزويد المشاركين بالأدوات الضرورية لمساعدتهم على القيام ببناء مشاريعهم الخاصة و مستقبلهم بانفسم.

SHORT SINOPSIS
A Chinese idealistic princess protector of arts, an violent and bloody Indian Sultan, an Egyptian peasant in loved, an emir and an Arab king confronted, the Mameluke queens Jatun, a young man thirsty of revenge… These characters with the traveller from Tanger from the 14th century, Ibn Battuta, will be our guides in this journey, that is also ours and that is just the excuse to analyze how saw the world Ibn Battuta at that time and how we see it now a days. The group of six Arab actors will perform a total of forty eight characters.

THE TRAVELER
Theatrical performance based on the book of Ibn Battuta travel
“A story of human kind trying to discover himself in others” Marco Magoa.
The actor, playwright and theater director Marco Magoa returns to Jordan to further strengthen cultural cooperation between Spain and the Arab world. Last August, the castings were held to select the young actors and actresses from Jordan, Palestine and Iraq, that for five weeks would work to turn this cooperation project into a performance, a play based on the book of Ibn Battuta travel. Performing arts workshops, executed at the Cervantes Institute in Amman, have been the core of the creative work of this group of young people. During these five weeks of work a large number of Jordanian professionals in the field of performing arts have been involved (assistant directors, technicians, photographers, assistants, actors, actresses etc.); the goal has been from the beginning to provide the necessary tools so that, from now on, they will be able build their own projects, their own future.
The performance will take place on the 5th and 6th of October at the Royal Cultural Center in Amman at 20:00 h. Free entry until seating capacity is reached.

BREVE SINOPSIS
Una princesa china idealista y protectora del arte, un sultán indio sanguinario, una campesina egipcia enamorada, un emir y un rey árabe enfrentados, las reinas mamelucas Jatún, un joven con ganas de venganza… estos personajes, junto al viajero tangerino del siglo XIV, Ibn Battuta, serán nuestros guías en este viaje, que es también el nuestro y que parte como excusa para reflexionar sobre cómo vio el mundo Ibn Battuta y cómo lo vemos nosotros ahora. Seis actores árabes interpretarán los cuarenta y ocho personajes de la función teatral.

“Una historia del ser humano intentando descubrirse a sí mismo en los demás” Marco Magoa.

El actor, dramaturgo y director de teatro Marco Magoa regresa a Jordania para continuar fortaleciendo la cooperación cultural entre España y el mundo árabe. El pasado mes de agosto se realizaron los castings para seleccionar a los jóvenes actores y actrices de Jordania, Palestina e Iraq, que durante cinco semanas trabajarían para materializar este proyecto de cooperación en una representación teatral basada en el libro de viajes de Ibn Battuta. Los talleres de artes escénicas, impartidos en el Instituto Cervantes de Amán, han sido el núcleo del trabajo creativo de este grupo de jóvenes. Durante estas cinco semanas de trabajo se ha involucrado al mayor número posible de profesionales jordanos en el área de las artes escénicas (ayudantes de dirección, técnicos, fotógrafos, asistentes, actores, actrices etc.); el objetivo ha sido desde el principio proporcionar las herramientas necesarias para que, de ahora en adelante, puedan ellos solos construir sus propios proyectos, su propio futuro
