Before he became one of the world’s greatest boxers, Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao was a young boy living a hand-to-mouth existence in General Santos City in Southern Philippines, and trying to survive from one day to the next. When Manny discovers his natural talent for boxing, he embarks on a brutal and intense journey that takes him from the amateur circuits in the mountain provinces to the slums of the big city. He must risk everything to become a champion for himself, his family and his country. The film tells the story of the young champion’s humble beginnings. The movie has won the Robert Villar Award for Achievement in Acting at Guam International Film Festival Awards (2015), the Star Awards for Movies for Supporting Actress of the Year 2016 and Best Production Design at the 14th Gawad Tanglaw Awards 2016. It has also participated in Raindance Film Festival.

It all started when 17-year-old Athena Dizon unwittingly plays a trick on bad boy, Kenji de los Reyes. All of a sudden, she finds herself unwillingly pretending to be his girlfriend to make Kenji’s ex-girlfriend jealous. Now, not only does she have to deal with dirty looks from the girls in school who want Kenji for themselves, but her supposed boyfriend is getting on her nerves. He never seems to agree with her on anything. However, love blossoms and they both find themselves falling for each other and yet going their separate ways in the end. The film has won the FAMAS Awards for Best Musical Score.
