OVERVIEW
The main objective of the training is to offer evidence-based updates and case studies on the Multidisciplinary Patient Management of Bariatric Surgery. Focus will be placed on Pre-Op & Post-Op Nutritional & Psychological Management. The course is approved by the CDR, the credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics for 5.5 CPE units +1 EH.

Former Bariatric Nutrition Coordinator at Brigham & Women’s Hospital Center for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery, an affiliated hospital of HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL. BS in Nutritional Sciences, Cornell University, with dietetic internship at Mayo Clinic. MS in Health Communication, Boston University. Level 1 & 2 Certificates of Training in Adult Weight Management from the CDR. Honors Award from the Susan T. Borra Fellowship in Nutrition Communication from the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Foundation. Member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND), Director of Education in the Massachusetts Dietetics Association (MDA), Member in the Integrated Health Executive Council of the American Society of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) & Obesity Action Coalition (OAC), with numerous publications on Bariatric Surgery in peer reviewed journals.
