ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Columbia Business School’s Venture for Creation program provides students with an intensive, “hands-on” course focusing on the creation, evaluation, development, and launch readiness of a new business or social venture.
The five-day course, which will be held at the Columbia Global Centers | Amman, allows students to explore the venture planning process in an innovative modular format, and rene their venture’s hypothesized business model based on instructor, peer, and local investor feedback. Students will learn key skills such as business model development, customer discovery, and market analysis and will hone critical professional skills including creative problem solving, communication and negotiation, project management, nancial analysis, and collaborative leadership.
This program has been taught in cities such as Dubai, Jakarta, Singapore, Tokyo, New Delhi and Beijing by faculty members with vast experience in entrepreneurship. It has had over 2,000 graduates, with many going on to attend Ivy League colleges in the U.S. and elsewhere.
The course will take place from April 9-13, 2017, and is intended for students (grades 10-12) with an interest in business and social enterprise.

FEES
Total cost for the ve-day course is 1,155 JOD. The deadline for registration and payment is March 1, 2017. Fees include tuition, instruction materials, snacks, and lunches. Participants that complete the program successfully receive a Venture for All® Program Certicate from Columbia Business School.
