بعد طلاق والديها، تنضم سابينا إلى أمها في سويسرا في حين تبقى شقيقتها، نارمينا، مع والدها في باكو. بعد خمس سنوات، يلتم شمل الشقيقتين عندما تأتي سابينا لقضاء العطلة الصيفية في أذربيجان. إلا أن هناك دافعا سريا وراء عطلة سابينا: فهي تريد الانتقال للعيش مع والدها الذي تحب بشدة. هو الآخر يملك مخططاً خاصاً به وينوي الزواج للمرة الثالثة، مما يحتم عليه أن ينقل الخبر لبناته. تنفذ سابينا – المُشتتة بين ثقافتين – نصيحة أبيها وتنتقل للعيش مع عمها في الريف. عندئذ، تنطلق في رحلة استكشاف خاصة بها بينما تندب شقيقتها رحيل حبيبها والتحاقه بالجيش. يرسم الفيلم صورة لمراهقتين من أذربيجان في سعيهما للحصول على اجابات. شارك الفيلم في أكثر من ثلاثين مهرجاناً من بينها مهرجان روتردام السينمائي الدولي ومهرجان رؤى الواقع في نيون (سويسرا)

After her parents’ divorce, Sabina followed her mother to Switzerland while her sis¬ter, Narmina, stayed with their father in Baku. Five years later, the sisters are reunited when Sabina comes to spend her summer vacation in Azerbaijan. Yet, Sabina’s vacation has a secret motive: she wants to move back home to live with the father she loves so deeply. He, too, has a project of his own: he wishes to marry for the third time and has to break the news to his daughters. Sabina, torn between two cultures, ends up following her father’s advice and leaves for the countryside with her uncle. She sets out on a journey of discovery, while her sister, Narmina, is left to lament her boyfriend’s departure for the army. The film paints the portrait of the coming of age of two Azerbaijani teenagers and their quest for answers. The film has participated in more than 30 festivals, amongst which Rotterdam International Film Festival and Visions du Réel Festival in Nyon (Switzerland).
