اهلا وسهلا بكم بالحفل الموسيقي الأول لطلاب الأكاديمية الأمريكية الأردنية الذي ستقيمه الأكاديمية الأمريكية الأردنية بقيادة العازفة العالمية وقائدة اوركسترا في معهد جوليارد العالمي “جوي كيم” لمجموعة مميزة من طلاب المدرسة للعزف اضافة الى غناء طلاب الصف الرابع
وذلك يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 23-5-2017 الساعة 5:00 عصرا في مسرح الروضة

The Harmony Concert
It will be our honor to have your presence at the American Academy’s first violin concert, which will be the very first student concert in the city of Zarqa! We are thrilled to be starting this music education program in our city. The minister of education expressed that he is highly impressed that we are starting music education in Zarqa. He believes that we need to teach the children the beauty of music instead of exposing them to any violence. Our vision is to build the first Youth Orchestra in American Academy Jordan, in Zarqa!

This vision is being made possible by violinist Joy Kim, who is AAJ’s school music director. Ms. Kim is a Juilliard graduate in New York, which is a world renowned music school. She was the concert master for Indiana University Symphony Orchestra as well as Juilliard Chamber orchestra. She was a founding member of the New York Classical Players and taught violin at Indiana University. She moved from New York to Zarqa with a vision of impacting the young students’ lives by giving them top quality music education, driven by love.

This is the very first year that Ms. Kim started to teach music at American Academy. One year ago, majority of our students had not even heard a violin or piano as live music, and now it’s hard to believe that they will be playing their first concert! We named the concert <The Harmony>, it will be held at the American Academy May 23rd Tuesday at 5PM
