Hey everyone!

Last year I skipped out on participating in any bazaars because I was busy preparing for the reopening of the shop in its new home. That night was a blast – crazy and crowded and fun. So I thought, why not make this an annual tiny Christmas Market?

I’m spending all my time working on new items, all of which will be available at the shop on those two days. There’s so much new stuff I’m starting to run out of space!

To make this a wholesome market experience, I’m partnering up with تغميس taghmees and Rex ركس. They’ll be there selling their delicious creations. I’ll be posting more details about them soon, but in the meantime you can visit their pages to learn more about them.

I’m aware that there are tons of other events happening all over the place, some on this very weekend, but I hope you’ll join us for a bit of art & some food, in a cozy little place with a lovely little garden!

About Bisbis

One final note, it’s been almost a year since Bisbis was diagnosed with renal failure. It happened shortly after the reopening of the shop. In some ways this has been the best and worst year, with tons of good and tons of bad. I know that caring for him has seriously impacted the opening hours of the shop.

I often feel bad about that, but then I think I would rather feel bad about that than guilty over not providing him with the care that he needs. In the decade that I’ve had this shop I think I’ve gotten to know some of you pretty well and I hope that you know me well enough to know I don’t just ditch work for no good reason. To those who don’t know me that well and to those who do- sorry and thank you.

I’m sorry you sometimes dropped by and I wasn’t there and thank you for understanding why I couldn’t be there. Please call or text me in the future (079-643-3311). I have made arrangements for Bisbis for the two days of this event so it’s definitely not going to be canceled! So I hope you’ll come and have a great time!
