Umm el-Jimal ROCK ART: Open Day Exhibition
Monday, May 22 at 11 AM – 7 PM
Pass by Zara Gallery at the Grand Hyatt Amman to view the collection of Umm el Jimal Rock Art – basalt handicrafts reminiscent of ancient times, yet perfectly fitting in modern homes and gardens.
The products are produced by a team of Jordanian and Syrian women from the local community of Umm el Jimal – Mafraq.
The revenues generated during the event will go entirely to the women of the cooperative “Ladies of Umm el Jimal District”, and contribute to increase family incomes in an area which as we know is one of Jordan’s poverty pockets. You may find further information on the website: www.ummeljimal.com
